Casey Knowles

Casey Knowles (of Bonney Lake, Washington, USA) rose to fame after stock video shot when she was nine was used in a Hillary Clinton advertisement, dubbed the "Red Phone Ad."[1] She first became aware of this use when she saw the ad being lampooned on The Daily Show by Jon Stewart.[2][3]

Casey Knowles was "irritated" that her likeness was used to advocate for Hillary Clinton's campaign, as she is an "avid Barack Obama" supporter. She is a precinct captain for Barack Obama and on March 20, created a counter-ad stating that Casey "rejects the politics of fear that Senator Clinton uses to drum up votes."[4] Her 18th birthday was in April, 2008, but she caucused in the Washington caucus for Barack Obama because Washington permits seventeen year olds to caucus if they'll be eighteen by election day.
